Welcome The stories of African American Mississippians who were and are trailblazers are stories deeply rooted in rich culture, history, triumphs and defeats. However, their contributions to the development and evolution of the State of Mississippi have somehow slowly slipped into the abyss of forgetfulness. The sacrifices and efforts of the selfless soldiers of the past have not only been relegated to a level of obscurity, but have also been erased. NMHS Unlimited, NMHS Unlimited Productions and Black History Plus were created to re-acquaint some, and introduce to others, Mississippi heroes whose pride, strength and dignity helped to create a state in which all might flourish.
